Try to follow these nutrional rules daily:

  • 3-5 servings of vegetables
  • 2-4 servings of fruit
  • 6-11 servings of bread, cereal, rice and pasta
  • 2-3 servings of low-fat milk and milk products
  • 2-3 servings of lean meat, poultry, fish, dried beans, eggs and nuts

Prepare meals with little or no added fat (try to avoid saturated fat), salt, or sugar.
